In 2016 the social elections will be held across our country. The liberal trade union ACLVB was looking for a communications partner that could assist them in developing the election campaign and found one in Mosquito. We created a two-phase campaign: first candidates must be recruited, then ACLVB must gain votes.
The visual development had to fit within the new corporate identity of ACLVB, but it also had to radiate dynamism. This resulted in a young and fresh campaign that really shows what ACLVB stands for.
Because the situation is different in every company, Mosquito developed a strategy that fits the various situations: from companies where ACLVB already has a strong presence to companies without a trade union. For each of these situations we created an individual set of carrier tools. We focused on ‘awareness’ or ‘interest’. First and foremost, it had to be made clear why a trade union is useful. Only then we were able to start introducing ACLVB. There lies the power of this campaign: we involve the people step by step.
Because of its graphic element the concept has an obvious link with the elections; the color blue is the heart of this campaign. The witty slogans draw the attention and make a serious subject like this more fun.
We created sets of posters, Boomerang postcards, flyers, packs of gum to hand out and a newspaper. Intracto designed a campaign website with a quiz created by us. Would you like to know if you are the ideal candidate? Visit www.wordkandidaat.be
